The Royal Victoria Chapel houses a museum whose exhibits tell the story of how wounded servicemen were brought to the military hospital, how they were treated while there and how many returned back to the front to fight another day.

The museum also contains artefacts from the medical staff who devoted themselves to saving as many as they could.

When you visit the Museum, give yourself at least 45 minutes to look at the displays, and if you want to climb to the top of the tower, add another 30 minutes on to this.
